Wingspan: 20mm - 22mm

Imago: Bivoltine, a very difficult species to identify due to it being a sibling species to A. hastiana.  Genitalia in both male and female are identical to that of A. hastiana, the only difference being the foodplant consumed.  The image above is identical to that of an imago described in (Razowski, Tortricidae of Europe) it is also shown in the listing of A. hastiana.

Larva: Monophagous, feeding on sea buckthorn (Hippopae rhamnoides)
